Belize

I recently had the opportunity to go to Belize to mentor a group of high school students in a business case competition and the experience left me feeling richer than ever. 

I've long held the perspective that your experiences with people are like emotional bank account. You can make deposits by building trust, sharing your story, and being open. Like any true investment increased risk often yields a higher reward, and any account requires maintenance.  

I'm amazed by the relationships and emotional deposits we made in 72 hours. The stories they shared left me touched. The solutions they designed were mature. The poise they exhibited was flawless.  All I can hope is that I was able to deposit more than I withdrew; because from where I stand they've made me richer in love, optimism and hope.
