Backyard
City-dweller, yogi, mountain-climber, surfer, foodie, and festival goer are how I would describe the typical Seattle resident. Seattle is quite the versatile city. Within a few miles you can find just about any activity that suits your tastes.
I was lucky enough to have amazing tour guides from Mercer Island all the way to West Seattle. Along the way, I started to develop a keen understanding of why most of the people I met were native to the city. When the beach, the mountains, and the city are all essentially in your backyard - finding a change in landscape is a 10 minute activity. Unfortunately the clouds prevented me from capturing a good shot of the mountain/city backdrop, but if you haven't been to Seattle - google it to see what I'm talking about.
As I mentioned in my last post, traveling light was essential for me. So, I wore this dress all day while exploring, and quickly threw on some heels when it was time for dinner (oysters, yum).
