During my short trip to Chicago I spent an afternoon exploring Wicker Park with friends. After ducking into a couple thrift shops and boutiques, we settled in for donuts and coffee at Stan's Donuts. I opted for the pistachio donut which did not disappoint.

Towards the end of the day we stopped by the newly constructed high line dubbed the 606. Given all the walking we did that day, we were not up for venturing down the 2.7 mile route. Not to mention, these grey flats were not comfortable AT ALL. It was a complete rookie move to try and break in these shoes, especially in a city as walkable as Chicago.

As life goes, most times you get what you pay for and I only paid $15 for them. I included a few links to some better options below, xx
